Stainless Steel Flange Specifications
The specifications of stainless steel flanges are not fixed, and they are processed according to specific field needs. Usually, the middle plate is cut into suitable strips first, and the length of the strips is determined according to the specifications of large flanges. Then roll it into a circle with a ring rolling machine, weld the joint firmly with welding rods, and carry out X-spectral inspection at the welding joint. Then use a press to flatten it, and then use a lathe to process waterlines, chamfers and other processes. It is a process of drilling bolt holes with an indexing plate and a drilling machine.
When drilling bolt holes, it is not allowed to drill bolt holes in places with large flange welds. The main design disadvantage of the plate type flat welding flange is that it cannot guarantee no leakage. This is the shortcoming of its design: the connection is dynamic, and cyclic loads such as thermal expansion and fluctuations will cause movement between the flange faces, affecting the function of the flange, thereby compromising the integrity of the flange, and eventually causing leakage. It is impossible for any product to be without defects, just try to control the deficiencies of the product to the minimum.
